Bit Pruitt
Bit Pruitt started out training colts in his early 20’s which lead him to farrier work. He was a full time farrier from 1996 - 2005.
During that same time he’s done all aspects of cowboy work, from day work, to over seeing an Angus cow calf operation. He has worked from Texas to New Mexico, Colorado to Montana, and Oklahoma.
Bit has had a love for cooking since he was a teenager, mainly outdoors and on the grill, which was a regular thing for his family just about every weekend. In 1997 he meet a Chuckwagon cook named Cratus Douthitt that needed some help around his wagon because he had been laid up from a horse wreak. From that day on Bit had found a new love and passion for cooking that kept him involved with the western culture he loves so much.
Bit has cooked for cowboys and cowgirls, multi-billionaires to regular, folks most rememberable events and charity events all over the United States.
